Boquete

Decided to go on a two day getaway from our vacation in Bocas by heading up into the mountains back on the mainland of Panama. First a boat taxi over to Almirante and then we found a taxi driver willing to drive us the 3 hours to Boquete, this was better than the alternative of a 5 hour bus ride, but a little more pricey. Our hostel featured the really nice sound of the river, that is once all of the music died down from the Festival, conveniently located directly across from us.

The Caldera River which runs through Boquete
The Festival of Flowers and Coffee. (Our hostel is the one just to the right of the big yellow one across the river.)
Trail to the Lost Waterfalls. Just outside of town and way up in the mountains is this beautiful hike, so amazingly maintained as a privately owned nature reserve.
The cutest passenger on our bus ride back from the Falls.
